This page explains how MaxLearning Academy uses browser storage, external services, server logs, and support emails.

Learning saved in your browser

Some activities use browser storage called localStorage to remember course completion, quiz scores, challenges, and streaks. The dashboard can also save an optional learner name. The planner and creator tools save entries such as tasks, goals, ideas, and scripts. The homepage remembers whether it has shown the intro video.

The reviewed code saves these items in the browser you use, rather than sending them to a learning-progress account. It has no account-sync feature. Someone using the same browser profile may see your saved entries, so avoid putting private information in them.

Clearing saved learning

On My Progress, choose Reset All Progress and confirm. This clears this site's local storage in that browser, including saved planner entries, creator drafts, and preferencesβ€”not just scores. This cannot be undone using the site.

You can also remove this site's stored data in your browser's site-data settings. Save anything you want to keep first. Clearing local storage does not delete emails or information held by other services.

YouTube videos

Some pages load embedded YouTube players directly from YouTube. The homepage also tries to play an intro video automatically on a first visit. YouTube receives information when its players load, even before you press Play, and may use cookies or similar storage. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles information.

Fonts, icons, and other websites

Pages request Google Fonts and Font Awesome icons from the external cdnjs service. These requests connect your browser to those providers to display the page. The navigation also links to an external Shopify store and Maxwell's Maths; following those links takes you to separate websites with their own privacy practices.

Questions and messages

The Contact page has an Email Us link, not a contact form. It asks your device to open an email app. If you send a message, the email includes the address and information you choose to send. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal details.

Support emails are stored in an IMAP mailbox and kept indefinitely, with no scheduled deletion. Only the site administrator reads them.

Server logs, analytics, and cookies

The site uses a LiteSpeed web server with standard server logs. These logs are kept for 30 days.

The hosting does not add analytics or cookies. No analytics scripts or code that sets cookies directly were found in the reviewed website files. This does not mean no information is collected: the external services described above have their own practices.
